Please note that the bottle image may not show the actual vintage available. Please check the product details for the actual vintage. We aim to keep this updated and as accurate as possible however wines produced in small quantities run out quickly and vintages change often.
If we have sold out of a particular wine that has been ordered on-line, we will do our best to re-stock the wine and fulfil the order as soon as possible or suggest a good alternative.
Our standard mainland UK delivery rate is £10 for any number of bottles and any value up to £149.
We offer free delivery to mainland UK when you spend £150 or more
Other UK addresses including the Scottish Highlands, Islands, Channel Islands and Northern Ireland have higher delivery charges and these depend on the postcode.
To calculate the delivery charge for non-mainland UK addresses, please enter your postcode into the billing/shipping address field.
We offer free delivery to Scottish Highlands, Lowlands, Northern Ireland and Ireland when you spend £250 or more and to Offshore Isles when you spend £350 or more.
Orders can be collected from our shop in Yarm free of charge during opening times (please see Shops & Bar section on website). In this situation you will receive an email once your order is ready for collection.
Our delivery will normally take place within 5 working days of your order; however, we aim to deliver the wine next day where possible and if placed before 12pm. If you have not received your delivery within 5 working days of your order being taken, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01642 657261. You can see if your order has been despatched by logging into your customer account. Please note in busy times delivery may be delayed. We will ensure we keep you updated in this eventuality.
Unfortunately we are unable to specify an exact day or time of delivery. If you are not in when we try to deliver, then a card will be left through your door and our couriers will make two further attempts to deliver the wine. If both of these are unsuccessful, another card will be left and the wine will be held at a local collection centre for a further 7 working days. If you do not collect the wines within this time then the order will be returned to Fourteen Drops and further delivery charges may apply to resend your order.
If nobody is in to receive the delivery and sign for it and you would like us to leave it in a safe place or with a neighbour, you do so at your own risk. Please complete the comments section during checkout, giving precise details of where the wine is to be left.
Please note, we can only deliver to UK addresses with a postcode. We are not able to delivery to P.O. Boxes or BFPO addresses.
We consider your satisfaction with our products and service to be of utmost importance. With this in mind if you are dissatisfied with the purchase you have made or the service you have received, please contact us immediately on 01642 657261.
In the unlikely event that your wine is damaged on arrival or if the wrong wine has been delivered to you, please contact us within 24 hours and we will arrange for collection and exchange or reimbursement. We will aim to reimburse you within 14 days from the date you notify us, once the wines have been collected by our carrier, returned to us and inspected.
Unfortunately from time to time wines may arrive out of condition, usually due to defective closures or any number of possible naturally occurring faults. If you find a bottle where you believe this is the case please contact customer services immediately on 01642 657261 or email@example.com.
You may wish to cancel your order for whatever reason after it arrives. In which case you may do so within 5 working days from receiving the wine, provided the bottles are unopened, intact and in their original packaging and condition. Once the goods are collected and inspected, we will reimburse you for the cost of the wine minus a surcharge of £15 for collection (from mainland UK addresses, none mainland addresses will incur higher rate surcharges). If you fail to make the goods available for collection within 14 days of cancellation, you will be deemed to have accepted the goods.
If you wish to return the goods to us, you may however you take full responsibility on the goods until they arrive back with us. Any breakages or damages incurred during transit not organised by us will be deducted from the final refund amount.
All returned items should be in their original packaging and in mint condition ready for resell.
